This beautiful monarch butterfly graced my afternoon with pure joy and wonderment and let me photograph it for a serene 45 minutes. A little piece of God's blessings he is always willing to give us if we just be still and keep our eyes open! It is 11"x14" and I can paint a similar one upon request. Thanks for looking!
I earned a BFA from Kent State University. Afterward, I exhibited in a one-woman show, group shows, festivals, art galleries, and received portrait and mural commissions, and studied with Jack Richard and at Akron University. I accepted a job as a photographic retoucher, which I did from my home for the next ten years, while also painting and selling a little on e-bay. Currently, I live in Northeast Ohio and continue to paint. I love being an artist. It is such a privilege to be able to paint from God's glorious creations and I will never quit doing what I love, but the most exciting thing about being an artist is when people are interested in my works.
